Rage-Carrie 2
|
| | | Every teen thinks terrible thoughts...hers are deadly. Features: DVD, Pan and Scan (TV Format), Widescreen, Commentary, Director's Cut, Trailers Rachel (Emily Bergl) is just another high school outcast who wants to survive her senior year without embarrassment. But unfortunately, she gets caught in the middle of a scandal when a prank--orchestrated by a group of over-sexed jocks--turns deadly. Once the police bring one of them in for questioning, the jocks target Rachel for squealing, hatching a devious scheme to publicly humiliate her. However, messing with Rachel is worse than playing with fire, for when her temper is crossed, it triggers a powder-keg of anger that unleashes special powers that can turn a fun-house party into a mad-house inferno. "The Rage: Carrie 2 slays in all the right ways!" Entertainment Weekly "Sustains your interest to the bloody, fiery end!" New York Post
Editor's Note
A surprisingly intelligent, entertaining sequel to the original Stephen King-penned high school prom nightmare. Twenty-three years later, Carrie's telekinetic half-sister Rachel (Bergl) is facing many of the same social hurdles as Carrie. When her best friend (Suvari), a fellow misfit, commits suicide as a result of being jilted by a jock who used her as a simple conquest, Rachel holds the knowledge that could deprive the football team of a key player. When she begins dating a football player (London), his jock friends target Rachel for revenge. Irving returns as Sue Snell, now a guidance counselor.
